Tony Bolero

Escritor de graffiti, Pintor, Escultor, crítico musical y muralista chileno. Estudió Teoría e Historia del Arte en la Universidad de Chile, optando por el trabajo artístico en detrimento del quehacer teórico. Dedicado al graffiti desde la temprana juventud, ha sido testigo del devenir de este movimiento, participando en innumerables intervenciones murales a lo largo del país. Su obra, transita entre el lenguaje de la calle y la formalidad académica, dando especial énfasis a la tensión producida entre el hombre y su entorno, y los obstáculos que la naturaleza impone frente a la vorágine del crecimiento de la civilización

Actualmente trabaja desde su taller en Puente Alto, Santiago de Chile, preparando lo que será su primera retrospectiva.

Graffiti writer, Painter, Sculptor, musical critic and Chilean muralist. He studied Theory and History of the Art at Universidad de Chile, choosing for the artistic work to the detriment of the theoretical occupation. Dedicated to the graffiti from the early youth, he has been a witness of the development of this movement, taking part in innumerable mural interventions along the country. His work travels between the language of the street and the academic formality, giving special emphasis to the tension produced between the man and his environment and the problems that nature imposes against the maelstrom of the civilization growth

Nowadays, he works preparing what will be his first retrospective in his workshop at Puente Alto, Santiago de Chile.
